About Us
The Kite Trade Association, International was established in 1983 as a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)(6) organization incorporated in the State of Maryland with the management office located in Otis, OR. The membership businesses consist of wholesalers, retailers and other interested parties from around the world.
The Kite Trade Association International exists to support and promote the manufacturing, distributing and retailing of kites and wind related products.
The Association operates under the direction of a Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for establishing policy for the Association and consists of six directors, each serving a three year term.
